What a tragic waste of a 406 Coupé
It looks atrocious. In fact it looks awful and sick-inducing

Re: French Ferrari anyone?
If someone told me they'd seen a fantastic conversion of a Peugeot 406 Coupe I'd be quite keen to hear about the Activa suspension.
But a cosmetic exercise like this is an insult to both cars
It looks like the windows are held in with tape

Re: French Ferrari anyone?
At least the 406 coupe makes a better sized version over the mr2 kits! But lets be honest, its not going to fool anyone is it! Especially not with the arch gaps like that!

I wouldn't have one, but done properly it's not actually a bad looking car at all :

Obviously, built and finished by an unskilled monkey, it'll be a piece of utter crap, as the ebay ad shows.

I like that....I'd take the badges off though...and the back needs lowered closer to the wheels or bigger ones, apart from that...I'd take it

Re: French Ferrari anyone?
How odd - no mention of what engine it is.
<quick tax disc check>
OK, I'm a bit surprised, and yet unsurprised at the same time.
v6? Of course not.
Diesel? Well, it wouldn't have surprised me...
No, it's a four-pot petrol.
Any remaining shred of credibility will go as soon as the onlooker's guide dog hears it fire up.

Re: French Ferrari anyone?
I think I saw on some discussion of the kit that the V6 could be tuned to about 250 bhpTooMany2cvs wrote:How odd - no mention of what engine it is.

Not if it's not in the car.

Re: French Ferrari anyone?
I've just bought a car with a V6 engine and proper suspension for a fraction of the cost of that and it both looks far better and is way more comfy
Yes, the ES9 V6 is very conservatively tuned as it stands and is good for plenty more. Some twin turbo them...
