My car has lost mpg since my replacement engine was fitted.

I did have to mess with the vac pipes as the turbo was not working correctly, all seems to work fine now and all pipes look to in the correct place engine pulls at all speeds oh and swirl flaps working.

What pipe did you have a problem with?
Volvo S80 D5.........
C5 2.2HDi Exclusive 2003 manual (now gone).
2009 Renault Megane, the misses drive.
Had a 1988 BX 19TRS Auto many moons ago.
Forgive any spelling mistakes, it's the phone not me.

It's only doing under 20 MPG at the moment you are looking at the readout and that makes it scary. Over time and distance it will even out to your average. If you drive pedal to the metal all the time, you will get poor MPG of course, but if you compensate for the hard driving with some gentle stuff, the MPG should almost be acceptable on a 2.2.
I had an S type Jag that I could get down to 7 MPG when pushed hard, but averaged 22-26 mpg.

I get around 30 - 35 local and 44 - 50 motorway.
Mines a 2.2 HDi 173 HP.
Rick.

2013 Citroen DS 5 D/Sport
2007 Renault Clio Campus sport. 1.2l

Sometimes the change doesn't work.

The vaccum pipe from turbo to the solenoid, used solenoid for egr, switched pipes and electric connector,
