I've been having several stand-offs with my cat over dry food Mike. She just refuses it and will go for days just nibbling a little bit and complaining bitterly to me and if you knew my cat she's not nice when she's got the 'ump

She even turns her nose up at the posh vet's stuff

I'm just not up to winning a war of attrition against a cat and I think she knows it

Recently, my kitty hopped in the open back door of the 605, looked at me (I was reattaching something on the door), hopped into the front passenger footwell and pretty much said "Hey, watch this" as he vigorously clawed the floor mat up. Cats are devious buggers and I know exactly what you mean about them being determined to have it their way.

My Mum's cat is on dry food for medical reasons. She does eat it, but sometimes she eats it so quickly that she throws it back up half an hour later (as it is too dry for her to digest that much), usually on Mum's bed. However, adding a little gravy to it has sorted that problem. I wonder if gravy with dry food would work with Fluffball?

It's worth a try James. In fact anything is worth a try and much thanks for the suggestion! I'll get some Bisto.

Don't worry, it'll get back to beer somehow soon. It always does.

Of course, that's possible in FCF :-D and that's the fun part actually 8-) .

Anyway before we leap to Moon walking, I'd like to add my comments. I like tasting local beer when ever I'm in an abroad country. So far I enjoyed and still surprised by the great variety of Belgium beer selection. In a restaurant they'll bring you the beer menu and the food menu separately :) If you like very strong beer, you can get it there also but personally I like more "normal" beer. In Russia Baltica beer (recently all owned by Carlsberg) and in China Tsingtao beer (German owned?) were the names stayed in my mind.

For me, beer shouldn't be about the strength, but the taste and enjoyment.
Strength is often a mask for taste, and often best drunk from paper bags on a park bench.
Anything over 7% is getting to the potency of weak wine. OK if you just want one bottle, but if you want an evenings social imbibing then you need a beer that is tasty, yet won't leave you on your back in the garden after 2 or 3 bottles.
Unless of course, there are some hot women in the garden, which would then make being flat on your back a decent enough place to be.

Not really Jim, Koskenkorva is Finnish Vodka and something of a joke/touchy subject in Sweden.
