synergie sliding doors deadlocked

Hi all, I recently purchased a used synergie 2.0HDI v reg, when I viewed it the central locking was not working but all doors would unlock manually and open (passenger side rear sliding door only opened a little though as the filler cap has broken off and it thinks it is permanently open). After driving it home and leaving it on the drive over night the alternator went and both the rear sliding doors have become deadlocked. The fob does not work either. At the moment I can unlock and lock the drivers door and the front passenger door with the key. If I hold the key towards lock on the drivers door I can hear it deadlock the rear sliding doors, but when I unlock again the deadlock is not reversed. I have replaced the alternator but this has not fixed it. I'm going insane as we all have to bundle in through the front doors and boot any help would be greatly appreciated.
