I'm getting a constant P0597 code on this car; the thermo housing has been replaced with the "blank" variety, leaving the original plug floating free - some local sources insist this is OK without a reflash. I also note PSA propose a a blank thermo housing without comment on the diagnostic aspect.
Car is also running rough; gutless and stumbling without any visible signs of (say) a BHG and the coils check out fine. Stalls sometimes. Injector dwell seems longer than normal at 40-something ms but it may be one of the characteristics of this motor design - I don't know.
I guess part two of my "question" is whether the permanent fault has nothing to do with the stumble!
