are there less c5s

Had a look on a secondhand car search for Scotland. Got 3 c5s. Seems theree's a lot less c5s to choose from which is borne out with a lack of them on the road. Pity i was getting a hankering

I'm seeing steadily increasing numbers of them now, where they were a rarity.
Usually see at least three on my trip to work (less that ten minutes) not counting the one up my street.

You may find as christmas came and went cars for sale declined... Theres useually a good 40 odd xantias on ebay, it was right down to 12 or so earlyer in the week..

No doubt the figure will increase... either that, or people are finding them not as good as the Xantia or XM, and gettin rid quickly..

33 for sale on autotrader. Depends what you're looking for of course. What mark, what year,what engine, what price what body.

You may have something there - when my son bought his 306 D-Turbo the salesman told us that any 306 HDi that came in, he phoned a guy in London who came straight for it as they sold for a far higher price in the south. They both made more money that way.
Perhaps the same happens with C5s.

there were none in hull for sale when i was looking all i found was piccasos bought mine 40 miles away only seen four driving round the city.

was interested in a pre-owned C5 tourer 6 months ago - asked local dealer for brochure - Nope! Download it sir... Asked CUK - letter came back --- 'out of stock and no idea when it will be republished' MMmmmm WHY was the obvious Q which made me nervous as to whether it was soon to be discontinued.... October bought a 6 mth old ex-demo C4 eHDIEGS Airstream VTR+ then 2 weeks ago C5 brochure popped through the letterbox with CUK letter ''following your recent request''' MMm sums it up really Darn it!

There are very few cars for sale over christmas. Its not high on peoples agenda at this time of year and not on others to be buying. I wouldnt be spending £30 on an autotrader advert at this time. Wait a few weeks and there will be more.

However yes, original shape C5s have been out of production for over 4 years now, so there will be less and less and they get written off and scrapped.

A quick Autotrader search shows 18 Xantias and around 160 (16 pages worth!) of C5s priced between £0 and £2000...

might seem fewer for sale as people are now buying them a lot of car for very little money.

Plenty on ebay and some real bargains if you don't mind doing a little work, that's where I bought both of mine.

Most people with any sense do not use Auto Trader as you will be emailed by a load of scammers, it is getting totally out of hand,at least with ebay it does not cost you £30 to get your advert posted and you get less hastle,with regard less c5's for sale,in scotland there can only be one answer they are all too tight to get rid of them ,okay the real reason is they all get lost in snow drifts.
