The common answer is Pininfarina but as you're asking it in that tone with those winky faces I reckon it's a trick question so I'm going to agree with Mike.

I believe the Cabrio was a Pininfarina design Kev, but the standard car was an in-house design.

Yes, the Cabrio was Pininfarina but the original design was in-house but not Peugeot in-house...

The acquired it when they bought......

Wait for it.....

Simca.

So the 205 is actually a Simca and hence why it was originally engined with the Simca 'suitcase'..

I too thought it was pininfirina who had penned it too.. i guess its a shame had the car been talbot it would of saved them as it did for peugeot... its the same for the 309.. was planned as the horizon replacement to be called the Arizona but got the pug treatment instead.. not to the same effect as the 205 though .. but still with simca rattlies until 1988

I'd be concerned about a Simca engine that didn't rattle. Even with everything adjusted properly they make a hell of a noise. My dad had a Chrysler Alpine out in Greece with a suitcase (it was called a Simca 1307 there). Even after a full service and the tappets done it sounded like a skeleton dancing in a tin can. Never broke down though.
