orange light appearing on dashboard can u plz help

i have a citroen synergie 1996 model and when u push the brake pedal i get a orange light appearing does nebody know what it means???? if so can u help me plz

Check your front brake pads - they may need replacing. The wiring to the pads is very unreliable. Sometimes if it has rubbed on something, the covering allows the wire to be exposed, giving the same result as a worn pad.

hi mate cheerz for that, cud this orange light also mean the brake discs are worn because i have already changed the padz, and ive checked the discs and they dont look to good. do u think it could be the discs???

If you've replaced the pads, check that the wiring isn't shorting. Worn discs wouldn't bring the light on. Has the orange light got an empty circle showing on it???

Check brake fluid and be on the safe side.
