DS24 video

Post by red_dwarfers »

I've just been watching this video of the DS24. Take note of the edge of the seat from 1.15, is that a manual tilt function?!

It's an interesting concept but is it really practical.

It's about time Citroen did something as revolutionary as the original DS but I'm not sure the DS24 is it...

The car industry badly needs a bit of revolution to kick it screaming out of the pit of mediocrity it is presently in and has been for far too long.

Personally I think that although I could probably get used to its looks, I don't imagine it's something I would want to be in on a long journey. Those tyres are far too low a profile, I'd be forever afraid of scuffing the alloys. The amount of suspension movement doesn't look all that clever with that small gap between the top of the tyres and the wheel arches. The seats looks very uncomfortable and head room looks to be a bit of an issue.

If anyone gets a sense of de ja vu from that post, sorry

I quite agree, it's no don't why most if not all prototypes are toned down. It could perhaps work as a real car but there would be significant compromises. I doubt that has hydractive suspension either

The front end looks like a recycled 'Batmobile'.......... not for me, I much prefer the look of the 'Numero 9'...........
