Turning the screw clockwise increases the fuel flow. Only do this about half a turn at a time.

As Peter says.

Be aware it will smoke heavily if you adjust it too much and you may have to reset anti stall / idle / max unloaded speed settings as well.

To be fair the DW8 can be made a bit more lively with this compared to stock from what I've heard although the earlier units were a bit more lively anyway.

As much fuel as you can give it without it smoking excessively.
