Grand Picasso C4 VTR+ 1.6hdi 2008
The climate control fan has stopped blowing. The fascia control lights still come on when you press the button to increase the fan speed. But no airlow. When I press the AC button, I can hear the the A/C unit kicking in. Rear de-mister is working okay. Looked at all the high rated fuses I could find, but they all seem fine. Any ideas.
What fuse controls the fan?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Grand Picasso C4 VTR+ 1.6hdi 2008 Blower problem
Welcome along!
It looks like F14 under the dash is listed as air conditioning, but it's only 10A so can' see this covering the blower. There is a fuse box under the bonnet (to the right of the battery) where F11 says 'Rear blower' which might be the one.
Probably need to get to the blower (which is above the pedals I think) and see if there is power onto it. After that, you could really do with getting it on a Lexia diag computer, as this will tell you whether the controller is actually sending a signal to the blower or not.

Re: Grand Picasso C4 VTR+ 1.6hdi 2008 Blower problem
Thanks Richard,
Thanks for your advice & help. I will get a meter on it over the weekend.
Believe it or not, I already have a Lexia 3. I bought it to diagnose a 'depollution' error, but managed to solve the problem by changing the fuel filter before the Lexia arrived through the post. Anyway, I've managed to lose the sofware for it. So I now have an expensive pile of cables sitting in the garage, that have never been used! Would it prove useful in diagnosing the problem?
I'll let you know how I get on with the fuses. Thanks again for your help.

Re: Grand Picasso C4 VTR+ 1.6hdi 2008 Blower problem
I have not had a unit fail on a C4 yet, but would put money on it being the resistor unit. Same fault as C5,s get, PU get the icon showing fan working , but no motor.

Anyone know the location of the heater fan?
I think it's under the steering, but there's a stubborn piece of trim obscuring my access. I don't want to set about it until I'm sure that's the fan's location.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, I think that's where it is. The trim above the pedals is not too bad to remove, there is a clip at the bottom corner by the door that is tight to release (ours is broken now....). You could change the pollen filter while you are there - that is a whole heap of fun. Not! Getting it out might be tricky as it is above the pedals - might be a bit easier if yours is auto, so short of a pedal....

Thanks for your help. Just a quick update.
I removed the small piece of fascia that surrounds the fuel cap button, and managed to see the fan that sits below and to the right of the steering column. Just able to get one hand to the fan, I gave the wiring a quick shoogle (tech term), and hey presto it's working again!

Re: Location of Heater fan
if its the same /ish unit as the pug 307 one of the terminals in the plug connecter going the the fan housing, and connecting to the speed control board over heats and creates a bad connection,
we have got the fan out of my friends 05 307 and a friend of his who is into electronics has the fan, he is going the solder a wire to each of the pins of the speed controller, then chop the plug from the loom and re/make with better connectors,
as cit/pug want around £70 quid for that section of wiring harness and my local pug dealer keeps it on the shelf,
as this is the second time this terminal has failed, it lasted a good few months the first time i cleaned and tightened it up,
