As Andrew says...
Wonder if the back box has the same standard 'pattern' manufacturing fault whereby a baffle on the RH side seems to be missing allowing the RH tailpipe to go straight through to the inlet.. Sounds nice though, despite not being right...
I have a brand new centre section in stock. Wonder if he'd just do a back box because in the not too distant I'm going to be needing one...
Thanks Roy for posting this

Re: Good deal on exhaust for Xantia V6
I bought one of these and fitted the rear silencer today. The quality seems to be good, but the tail pipes are not chromed.
The good news is that it appears to be same design as the OE part and has is nice and quiet at idle and cruise (about the same as original).
It came with rubber mounting blocks and clamps, but I reused the originals, as they are better quality.
I have not fitted the center section, as it was only replaced 4 months ago and I suspect that it came from the same (Polish) factory.

Re: Good deal on exhaust for Xantia V6
That's good to hear Mike. I'm very tempted to get one for stock... Shame is I already have a brand-spanking new Centre Section so I'd end up with two....
It's not a worry the tailpipes aren't chromed as the chroming doesn't last very long on the pattern ones anyway...

Re: Good deal on exhaust for Xantia V6
Hi lexi
I am staying alive, moved from London to North Antrim, come and fish sometime
the green meanie is excellent, new spheres, put on a new timing belt
new wheels, tyres, spheres, backbox, wishbones, discs droplinks, pads
and washed and polished.
She passed the Northern Ireland Mot a month ago,
no faults found;
Now 74k - should be run in in another 50k - I think the flat spot at 175mph will disappear then.
thanks again mate, she's awesome, did a show in Galway last weekend and she performed as required on demand through both countries;
to and from airports and cross country on A B C roads and motorways. I'm just getting used to the new wishbones, steering is quick.
Went to see my wee new grandson and hired an Astra when I dropped down to london for some grayling.
Getting back to the V6 was a blessed relief after that.
Be well sir

Roy
