I don't know if you have seen the recent film "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy", but apart from being a good film, IMHO, there is a magnificent Citroen driven by the character Peter Guillam. There is information on the car, and the link is

I wonder what the car is doing now.

Re: Tinker Tailor Citroen DS 21
The ONLY part of the film that was better than the original BBC series was the DS21. In the BBC series Peter Guillam drove a Morgan: not bad but lacked the class of the DS. Jim Prideaux drove a much older Alvis than the saloon used in the Film, so that sort of makes up for it.
That's not to say the film was bad - it was up with the best of them that year: the BBC series was just superb. You can get a box set of Tinker Tailor and Smiley's people, to while away the dull autumn evenings. Needs quiet concentration and a glass of quality scotch to enjoy to the full.
But this is a Citroen forum not a film review. Some info here from the restorers: http://pallasauto.co.uk/en/ds21-pallas-rhd/gallery" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Wonder where it is now?

Re: Tinker Tailor Citroen DS 21
On a slightly off topic note ...
I happened to be watching 'made in Chelsea' on Monday - basically a program following a lot of well off young peoples lives in Chelsea, usually worrying about nothing. They are often tanking about in Range Rovers, Mercs and the odd Ferrari. However, one of them was in a very very nice early DS cabrio!

Yes, very expensive, I just thought an unusual choice of car for a young 20 year old. Far better than a Rangie of course, someone has a bit of taste!citroenxm wrote:Chris... you seen the price of those early cabrios!!??? beats the crap out of any range rover price for some...100k plus

I saw that*, and it did seem rather an odd choice, but I suppose you have to be Saudi Prince-rich to be able to afford a new car which stands out.
* I happened to be in the same room while the wife was watching it, just to be clear!
