New piece of kunifer replaced the rubber to pinion end, hopefully it will be flexible enough to get around the back.

Weather was lovely over at Sawtry but coming back from Bedford I could see the clouds over MK

Had a lovely weekend away in Leominster, Cassy behaved herself as always although she is now in need of a good wash as many country lanes/farm tracks were travelled while we were there
We went to the Time Machine Sci-Fi museum and took plenty of photos:






Then we headed off to Hereford to its cathedral, and on the way back to the hotel we spotted this:

Just ordered a new pair of tyres for Cassy and Juliet, earnt myself 988 clubcard points from Blackcircles with it (although I'd rather have had a discount)

Well the new tyres did well in the snow and ice.
Had a bit of drama this morning with Cassy, got her started, put my foot on the throttle and there was a clunk as it flopped all the way down.
The metal blob on the end of the cable which sits in the plastic clip had come off.
I couldn't get the angle on the clip to extract it so had to snap it off, then pull out the broken cable before feeding in a spare cable.
Dashed inside to the DVD/BlueRay sheft next to my seat and frantically looked for the spare clip I had seen on there praying someone hadn't tidied up since I last saw it.
Success! I found it and headed back out to fit it to the end of then new cable.
I used the long LED torch Richard had got me from Costco to keep the pedal to the floor while I fitted the other end to the throttle arm of the pump and was on my way.

I'm surprised you even notice Xac.. I thought your throttle pedal only had two positions - idling or flat to the floor

Still, I suppose the lighter it is the easier it is to bury it in the carpet

Exactly, it's shaved at least .2 of a second off my pedal to the metal time
