s**t Suspension and spheres advice

Unread post by citroenxm »

Hi all..

I bought my Xantia HDi exclusive year last november, so comming up to two years. When I bought the car it had 156k on the clock, and had recently just had the four CORNER spheres replaced..

Now recently, the front is getting not hard, but bouncy onthe front... I dont like it! Its not the electro valves as the car has the E Crofting kit, and they function correctly, buzzing and cutting out etc as they should.

I changed the front centre sphere, only to find it was not flat, and it was a Genuine Citroen unit with the 3 dots and the Citroen badge on it.. I swapped it anyway.. still the same.

So Im asking .. Now the car is on 223,500 miles, would the front spheres after 70k need renewing again?? Is 70k acceptable for a life of spheres.??

Thanks

I thought you had a pressure tester?

Surely you can play swapsies to see if it rides better with other spheres on it?

What does a good old bounce test tell, you Paul?

Is the hydractive working?

at 70k i would be suspecting spheres.....

don't forget of course that dampers can go.

don't blame Hydractive, it's lovely :P
