Does the Picasso need suspension aids on suspension for towing

Don't believe so - you can't anyway as it has torsion bar suspension that would be difficult to assist!

This is correct, never understood this aid thing, surely if the nose weight is correct , then the car will manage fine anyway ?

Years ago I used to tow with a diesel Sierra and I got assisters from them. Going over rough roads, it stopped the car hitting the bump stops.
