Hi all-
Just another noob here, a Yank by way of Aussiefrogs. I've been fooling around with French cars here in California for too many years, now to the point that I work on the US-market Citroen Ds. I might even be useful enough to help with some of the questions for the older stuff.

Hey all- thanks for the welcome. I'll be looking in from time to time, see what's going on. I can't help too much on the newer (post 1975!) stuff, but I'll do what I can.
Or should that be Hi, y'all!
Actually, I'm a bit further west than that, in SoCal. Sentiment is nice, though- thanks

For all who have said 'Hi!', thanks, and hello back to you. It's going to be a bit before I'm actually settled in, but the welcome helps rather a lot.
I've already chimed in on an XM thread, but the area of expertise is having been a car sparky for a couple of years, DS electrical systems in particular. So ask away- if I can help, I will.

Re: Just another noob
Usually the US market stuff. I got involved in that because a couple of friends and I were talking at Rendezvous a few years ago. It came about at the right time because I had grown weary not of electrifying customs, restorations and hotrods, but because of dealing with high-strung, high maintenance egos who oddly had the toughest time paying the bill when the work was done. Guys who lived in 5M houses with all the toys a man could ask for, and they would quibble over 400.00 worth of work on their 200K plastic fantastic me-too '36 Ford-with-a-Small Block Chevy.citronut wrote:so is that the Goddess/magic carpet or the Euro box DsHotrodelectric wrote: having been a car sparky for a couple of years, DS electrical systems in particular. I had better stop here, or I am going to go into a full-on rant that will make my time here at FCF short-lived.
Let's just say I love the DS enough to try and help keep them on the road, no matter where.
