They might fit but they could foul the arches. They are really too big, a larger radius than any tyre fitted to a Xantia.

Xantia sized are yours (185/65/15), 195.60.15 (fitted to early VSX) and 205.60.15.

Yes they do fit, but there is no room for snow chains. The speedometer is less optimistic and the gearing raised a little. I prefer them for the taller sidewalls and more air volume, which cushions the ride.

I would stick to the correct tyre size for your car.

Among effects on handling, wheel arch clearance, gearing and speedo readings you might also face problems from your insurance company should the car be in an accident. They will try anything to get out of paying a claim!

The 185.65.15 tyres on your Xantia are easy and cheap enough to come by, I would stick to those.

Or, buy a set of Xantia alloys with tyres fitted, in the correct size. However, your insurance would also like to know about that too
