Just saw this on the alt.autos.citroen group.[:)]
Have a 1976 series 1 CX2200 Super in Sydney with expired rego. Has been in
family since new. Apart from a flat battery this car goes well: spheres all
OK, engine, gearbox & clutch all OK with exception of minor coolant leak
from radiator, also re-upolstered. Has recently had all 4 brake discs and
caliper piston seals replaced. Lovely car to drive if you dont mind the lack
of power steering. House renovations and family mean that I dont have the
time to re-register. If anyone is interested in this car please reply ASAP
as coucil is threatening to scrap the car. I dont want any money - would
just like to know that all my time & money is not going to end up being
scrapped.
Anyone??
Regards
Max

Be fun driving it back! Where's the nearest European port to Sydney?

I suspect this could be a car that was advertised on e-bay here a few weeks back. At the time he had 2 and I'm pretty sure that one was a non power steering car.
Biggest problem is trying to shift it. Car carriers out here go ape at the prospect and invariable manage to almost write them off with damage in teh process.
I'll post this link on a board over here that may just get a nibble as I hate to see these old things getting squashed. Too many cars get this treatment and this is eventually going to catch up on us all even for parts if nothing else.
Too far for me to even consider as I'm 1500 klms away.
