ZX Volcane options?

Hi All
I’ve just discovered your great forum and wondered whether some kind ZX guru would be able to answer a couple of simple questions for me. I’m currently looking for a good ZX TD Volcane and would like to know if the Volcane was ever sold with a leather interior and air conditioning. If so how likely I am to find a Volcane in good condition with both of these options?

Leather was an option, and there are very few ZX's with it. The same goes for Aircon. You will probably have to search long and hard to find such a car.
You could try the retrofit route, some times specialist Citroen breakers like www.cit-ren.co.uk or www.edwardsandson.co.uk may have Leather interiors for sale. Aircon can also be retrofitted, although as Tom S will tell you it can be a bit of a job to put it mildly.

On that note, was it only the volcane that had the leather option as ive never seen a 16v (supposedly top of the range model) with leather?

I once saw a Volcane advertised with a 2 litre petrol engine that had leather, aircon, and --- was automatic!!! I very nearly bought it.. was a close thing! lol.. but decided to stick to Diesels..

I ended up getting the Aura 1.9D auto instead, a good choice I think as the Aura is a great lil car... (so far!) [:D]
Finding a nice diesel auto ZX took me six months, I think you may double that finding the car you want.. [V]

My '94 ZX Volcane is a 2.0 petrol,with leather interior and air conditioning. The car is red with black interior and red accent. It looks very cool.

Hi, I had no idea the ZX was sold so far away from France. Are there any other countries near you where it was also sold? There are a number of people on here from Malaysia as well who have them.
