im looking for the door release cable (the cable that unlocks the sliding door when its in the "open" position)

Not exactly clear on the diagram - it shows a cable fixed onto a rotating cam with 2 rods on the other end - the part points to the plate, but the price and title would relate more to the cable Scrapyard?

Ive found a SAFTY CONTROL bit, but no idea if its a cable or rod..

how did you manage to get the prices?

i'll remove the door trim later and have a good look, the one on the pics also show a lock barrel so maybe from a later model?

I have in the past used a bicycle brake cable from the poundland shop to replace one of these.

if you are registered on service citroen double click on the part No. then click on the basket once, now clock the back arrow once, then click basket once for a second time,

this will give you the price as on Richards reply to your thread

removed the panel and its just a cable, weather i can buy this in its own is another matter

i have just had a look on service citroen and it doesnt show the cable on its own,

it seems it comes with the large gold coloured piece locking mechanism in you photo
