Newbie with a CX

Hi Guys
Just bought a CX - thought you might like to see it.
It's a 1987 CX25 GTi Auto. with 115k on the clock.
It was stored from 1999 - 2010 and so is in pretty good condition. It's done 39 miles since 1999.
The previous owner replaced the 2 drivers side doors and boot lid as they were rotten - now some paintwork needed. The rest of the car is solid.
He also removed lots of trim ready for a respray, but then had to sell it. I'm refitting it as I want to use the car whlst it still has some MOT then I'll take it off the road over the winter & fix whatever's needed.
Just after getting the car I saw a photo of a CX with Alfa wheels - and had to have some !!

Excellent, thanks for that John and welcome to the world of CX Ownership...

I recognise those panels... :wink:

Reason I say that is that the previous owner (James?) bought those doors and bootlid from my dad - small world is the CX world!

Looks smart with the Alfa Alloys. 8-)

Hi Citroening - this is like a jigsaw - I just took a look at the website in your profile & noticed the name Patrick Rugg - is that your Dad?
James told me about a guy called Patrick who was very helpful

You're quite correct John in that my dad is Patrick. (I'm Franklin, by the way).

If you need any parts etc just ask as we've got...um...a few...! :lol:

Got to update the website as there's a few new arrivals - thanks for the reminder! :wink:
