Is there a Lexia owner near Gloucester

Unread post by messerschmitt owner »

Hi

wonder if someone has a Lexia close to Gloucester that could check over both my XMs - one could do with the suspension checked and the other has a warning light on that I would like to check out.

Beer supplied!

I'm at Bream, Forest of Dean and I've got a new Lexia but as yet haven't used it, still trying to set it up (See my posts in the sticky up top)

Malcolm I had looked and no one was there. If gibbo is happy to lower the tone of his neighbourhood with an xm visiting, I'll Arrange with him to visit one at a time. It's about 30 minutes away. Bream is a lovely wee village too. Last time I was down that way I saw a fabulous vx e series velox or cresta in yorkley.

next silly question - as a confirmed mac user, I only have a Samsung N150 notebook as a windows computer. It runs windows 7 starter - will it run lexia software and would I be able to use that with the older XMs (one M-reg 2.1TD, the other a 2.0TCT - of R-vintage). Oh, and where is the plug on an XM for the diagnostics?

Lexia will work on your XM's, not sure about Windows 7 as it's meant to be used with XP.

Gibbo, have you now got your Lexia working?

I haven't tried yet Richard with the new advice you posted although I'm pretty sure I did already go there earlier, I'll have another go later. Been busy crawling under the C5 diagnosing the 'no turbo' fault mentioned in another post.
