C5 MkIII Diagnostic Socket

Unread post by nigelh »

Does anyone know where to find the diagnostic socket on my 2009 C5 Tourer? Some suggest the fusebox in the glove box but there's definitely nothing suitable in there! Help please!

Nigel,

If it's like the C6, have a look in the centre console, if you pull the inside front back, the socket is there, but I'm not certain thats where it is.....

R
Thanks for that - I'll have a look in the morning. Not sure exactly where you mean as there's nothing to "pull back"!

You were right - in the central arm-rest/storage box! Would never have found it! Thanks for that.

Half of me thinks its an brilliant place, clean, dry and easy to plug in when in drivers seat. The other half of me thngs its daft - need to get in or reach across with grubby overalls on.

Is the foldaway cup holder in the centre box the single most useless thing in the universe (after Nick Clegg) or do you have other suggestions?
