Is this going to be expensive ?

Hi all

Well i have just gone out to my car, a 52 plate C5 HDi Exclusive est, and the poor thing is resting right right down on the rear wheels. The rear screen is covered in an oily film and there is a slug trail on the road and in to my parking space. I have pulled the car forward and there is a big pool of fluid towards the rear drivers side.

My question is , is this going to be expensive and will it be worth getting done on a 10 year old car with 170,000 miles on the clock ?

Hard question to answer without knowing exactly what the problem is.
If it is a burst pipe it shouldn't be terribly difficult nor expensive to fix.
If it is the ram seals the dealer will try and fob you off with a new ram (£££££££££) but they are reasonably easy to remove and as long as there is no corrosion or scoring then a set of seals (not many£££) will sort it.

Worth at least pricing up once you know what the leak is from.
