On the spotting side, considering I've done 700 miles in three days (Home to Aberystwyth and back followed almost immediately by Home to Taunton and back) the Xantia spotting was poor.

One unknown blue Xantia near Shrewsbury, one blue Xantia Estate in Taunton and one red one I forget where...

Where have they all gone?
Had current tax, and looked in great condition, Jim.

An excellent spot, to see a 2cv just left in a field, looks a nice example. 8-)

Yes, looks great now, I bet it's a nightmare in winter though. (I'm from Whitby so know just what winter by the sea can be like)

Spotted a Renault 21 yesterday, haven't seen one in years. It looked to be in superb nick but passed too quickly for me to see any further details.

Tis Portreath down on the north Cornish coast, is a lovely little village, packed in the summer! Winters okay, get some Amazing storms blow up the coast! Few years back when we had the last Good one, the sea pushed up over the car park on the front! Got a couple of pictures but was difficult to Stand! Wave height recoded at 26ft off the rock! :-O. One of the pictures I managed to get, I worked it out at roughly 23ft knowing the height of the blocks in the wall and the old pilot hut size etc.! Just Love what nature can throw at us!!

On the way home from work yesterday, I dropped onto the M6 right behind John Rigbye's DS3 Racing and followed that for a while, then coming off the M6 at Jcn 29 (M65) I was passed by a BX GTI in red on a J plate.

Loads of french cars - mainly Citroens as I was out with my eldest daughter looking for a C3 or similar for her :)

There was a C5 VRS estate at the Honda dealer (she bought her last C3 and a Civic from them) and every time we passed it it would unlock then lock again - I wonder if it was my C5 keys messing with it? It was not for sale (in the customer car park, scruffy and full of rubbish) but no-one came to investigate.

She bought a C3 - first one she saw, as usual. OK but they forgot to fit any suspension to it :(
Hate to say it but the '03 Astra she part-exed for it is a far better car, too big and uneconomical for her though.

Driving along in the Laguna V6 this afternoon.... a Vel Satis comes towards me THEN a 3.5 V6 Grand Espace pulls out in front me ahead. It was enough to give me a stroke, the excitement was immense! Followed the Espace for ages but they were lost and kept stopping and starting - I WILL own it, you've seen it here, HJZ 6343 will be mine
French is best.

Ive spotted a few French cars this past week, 4 2cvs, all in Wales. A red, a blue and a yellow and green and this very nice red and grey:

Today I spotted a blue Renault Avantime going South on the M1, with a canoe on the roof.

I came across this in a small Welsh village, a BX TZD:

In short, it is a Traction Avant, very nice spot :-D

Not sure what's happened to the other photos on Flikr of this car, but here's one of the back end, taken today.

Oooh a taction! Used to be one up the road from the local Cit dealers, chap would park it on the Hill out side his Driveway on a 2 lane section!! Brave! But admittedly, and suprisingly, never got bumped! Loved seeing it there! Not seen it for a while though! :-(

Did see A nice condition 405 estate on an L plate in the woods carpark yesterday and an old L plate Espace too!
