C5 More Problems!!!!

Sorry but getting beyond a joke now. We have another problem, the rear wiper has stopped working. We are really starting to worry about it's reliability as a new problem is cropping up almost every week it seems . Anyway any ideas? I thought I saw a post about this being linked to another problem but I either can't find it or was dreaming it. Any help appreciated from a weary C5 owner.

Probably a break in the wire where it comes through the tailgate hinges.
Check for a voltage at the motor - note that it will not work with the glass open and IIRC won't work with the tailgate open either.
Also it will 'go to sleep' a few minutes after the engine is stopped.

myglaren has already given important advices about your case.
I hope the problem will be fixed by them.

If not then check this also. Tailgate wiper motor can also be mechanically jammed.
