Xantia wheel sizes

Hi All,

When did the Xantia change from 14" rims to 15" rims

Hi Kenny,

I can't be at all precise, but my guess would be sometime in 1994, maybe early 1995? My 1995 TD (RP 6794) is on 15" wheels. I guess some other members will be along later, with much more precise information

I though it was slightly later in 1995? I know my parents bought a new TD LX in 1995 and it had 14" wheels. However all estate Xantias came with 15" wheels.

Mine's RDM 6750 a 1995N and on 15's so maybe only early ones were on 14 inches?

It appears all 1992 to 1995 Steel wheels were 14", except VSX Alloys which were Allways 15", I worked out that when the chevrons moved to the grill off the bonnet, and air bags were added they then switched to 15" wheels. But this could have only been SX cars, leaving base LX with 14" untill later again.

All S2 cars are 15".. so like above, its a vauge reply and not an exact...

I think there might be some truth in that Paul. Our 1995 'M' TD LX had the chevrons on the grill and a drivers airbag but 14" wheels.

Thanks guy for the replies, I'm going to buy a 2nd set of steel rims to swap with the originals.
One set fitted with all weather tyres and the other with summer tyres.
