CITROEN C5 2.2 HDi EXCLUSIVE 54 REG PARKING SENSOR FAULT

Hi folks my C5 says parking sensor fault on the display unit on dash,its the top spec exclusive model front and rear sensors built in bumper standard on exclusive models newer style 54 reg,what should i do?cheers.Gaz

Does the screen give you any indication to it being a front or rear sensor.

It is not unknown for sensors to go faulty, not on C5s but every sernsor kit.

Its possible that a Lexia will pinpoint which sensor is duff. That is if the wiring is ok and the ECU is ok

Try using an old toothbrush with a mild washing up solution and gently cleaning all the sensors, this often cures faults where sensors are "seeing" false things and causing spurious beeping.
