Googled this topic for a while and I am trying to retrofit a cruise control on my C5 2,0 hdi 2002.
Have now installed a stalk /enabled RVV in Lexia and bought the red additional breakswitch sensor, however my car does not seem to have any room for the sensor, nor wiring.
I find the existing break sensor at the break pedal, and the additional is supposed to sit between that one like on the picture below right? on my car its just a marked X not even a hole for it to be fitted.
As for the wiring, I have big trouble to find wiring schematics for this car, looked in Haynes, Autodata googled and so on but nothing.
It seems I have only one cableconnection to the stalk, a blue connection, and there seems to be mising one cable connection in the middle to the right of the first cable connection just below the stalk.
Yesturday I got even more confused when going to the junk yard, I found a C5 with the 2.2 hdi engine and it had the cruice control option. When looking at this car it did not either have an aditional break sensor, same sa my car only a marked X on the place where I thought the switch was to be fitted...
Maby this 2.2 had a different type of cruise control with some combinated break swithc cruice switch.? or what is going on here?
Anybody know where to get som intel on the wiring of a cruice control for these cars?
