i`ll take it to brighton and back on friday ( 60 mile round trip) - the question is , would is start to `mayo up` even after 24 hours of being flushed and oil changed?

tommorrow is `the` day - taking her out for a nice and long run - if you see a red 806 on the side of the A27 with the bonnet up and the driver quietly sobbing , you know its all gone horribly wrong.....again....

well a little 55 mile trip and she didnt blow or die , just used petrol , got warm , needle didnt go above 90 when warm , but the filler still has mayo in it , i think the water is coming from the top breathers though as i can see it dripping off the fixed catch sieve

/facepalm

appears the knocking was from a piece of bumper lodged under teh drive shaft - it came out today (was a far sized chunk) and voila th knocking ended......
