Hi!
I wonder if it possible to disconntect activa circuit?
Becasue I think it rasie my car in the back so normal height are little higher ans it looks like dragrace car so I will test to disconntect it.
And the suspension are stiff and my activa ram are broken and plugged. I looking for the feed pipe to the activa circuit.
If I plug the car into a lexia reader can I see if the diod are burned in the data box?

Re: Disconntect activa circuit
Hi Robin, it is not possible to disconnect the Activa system out of the suspension system. Why would you want to do that anyway? If you are not familiar with the layout of the system and how it works, it might be adviseable to let somebody that is familiar with Activas to have a look at it to resolve your suspension problems.
There are a few of us on here who could make a physical diagnosis and offer a repair solution.
Whereabouts are you?

Re: Disconntect activa circuit
Technically you could but you'd need to replace the rams with solid links and disconnect and block off the hydraulic feed to the Activa circuit at the security valve.
Harder work than making the Activa system work as the solid link ram replacements would have to be custom fabricated.

Re: Disconntect activa circuit
The best piece of advice I can offer is scrap the Activa, and buy a nice simple sinker Xantia! Magic! What Xantias should all be about.

Re: Disconntect activa circuit
From viewing your video it looks as if the ride height needs adjusting to lower the car, the front should generally have three fingers space between the tyre and wheel arch rather than the four you demonstrate and the rear tyre should be roughly level with the wheel arch, a quick search on the forum for adjusting the ride height will give you all the details you need, obviously be very careful about avoiding the car collapsing on you by ensuring it is properly supported otherwise it can drop on you and trap/kill you.
Lexia will tell you whether the ECU is faulty plus any other codes that are recorded by it.robin92 wrote:If I plug the car into a lexia reader can I see if the diod are burned in the data box?

Hi!
I tested to sit on the front fender and the car sink in the front a little bit but dont rasie :s any ide?
Fresh spers any idea why the car are feel stiff. It feels like the front are stiff and the rear ok. When I lift up the car in front fender and the car go up a little bit and it feels soft a while. What happen if the pipe on the height regulator are mixed?

Re: Disconntect activa circuit
Check to see whether the white plastic 'dog bone' is still connected to the height corrector, this dog bone acts as the link between the height corrector and the anti-roll bar clamp, this link can pop off of its ball joint and if it does then the height corrector won't adjust the ride height. You'll have to get right under the car to find it, its located just to the right side of centre, for safetys sake make sure the car is correctly supported with ramps/axle stands when you're under there as when you start 'playing' with the height adjuster the car often drops quite suddenly and will squash yourobin92 wrote:I tested to sit on the front fender and the car sink in the front a little bit but dont rasie :s any ide?

The front stiffness may well be down to the ride height being too low due to the issue I mention above, why do you think the pipes may be mixed up, has someone been working on the height corrector?

Plast bone are on rights place.
But it is little gap in the bone.
I think this problem come when I removed the height corrector and cleaned it.
