7 seat xantia?

did citroen ever make a 7 seat xantia?

seen a 406 with 2 in the boot , am thinking , (since replacement of the 806 is going to happen sooner rather than later) a xantia estate with 7 might be a good idea.

or failing that, is there a conversion kit?

There was a "kit" (if that is the word) for two boot area seats in an estate. Not sure if it was dealer accessory of aftermarket.

Think they faced backwards, rather then opposed like the Dee era Strapontins.

with 2 teens were not using all the seats in the 806 now, so occasional ones would be a better option (thats what i was thinking anyway)

As the kit is a rear facing seat there is usually a weight limit to them - often only for very small children.

thats not really an issue - 2 are familes that ` merged` - the eldest are teens , the younger ones are 8 and 4

No But I made an 8 seater proper inertia reel seatbelts, headrests all colour coded to the car. This was the last time we used it as they got just a bit too big.

They used to love waving to the other drivers

did they ever make an activa estate

now -thanks to Chris570 , the pug replacement seems to be a `go` -

diesel ofc is the likely , but , an activa estate would be yum

Nope, they didn't you can get the Activas TCT in an estate body but without the Activa suspension.

Find a Range topping VSX or Exclusive to get hydractive, which gives a great ride with better body control.

The eldest's 24 living 600 miles away. The wifes friends family are 500 miles away. So there isn't the need to transport 6 small kids about.
Sorry Harlequin I just threw the bits away about 6 months ago..Wouldn't have done for anyone over the age of 6 anyway.. not enough leg room in the boot.
