synergie fault....
hi guys.i recently did a decent treck........... 190 miles and after a run like that you would of thought that the heater would be nice and toasty.........
but for some reason it was blowing in between luke warm and cold.could this be a duff thermostat or sumit far worse. cheers guys

Heater matrix may be partially blocked - if the coolant isn't changed often enough or someone has used Radweld, K-Seal or similar it can cause this.
A flush using Forte Cooling System Flush might do the trick.

If the thermostat is duff after the engine has been running for some time the temperature will more than likely be running below 80° and you'll feel warm water in the radiator hoses before the temperature gauge reaches 80°.

could just be low on coolant Dave? on earlier psa cars (405) the cold air used to be my warning that the thing was going to overheat soon

cheers guys. the coolant should be fine as its just had a new cambelt/waterpump/fuel pump refurb so the coolant was replaced too but i,ll check it......as for the radiator hose i havent felt them to see if they are getting hot but again ill check it out. cheers again guys :@)
