Reverse switch on gearbox?

When i put my car into reverse (1996 306 Dturbo) the reverse light doesn't always come on (if you wiggle or adjust the gearstick it may come on). I am going to change the switch on the gearbox to see if its a little dodgy. Just making sure that I have the right part off GSF, is it: T93490 REVERSE LAMP SWITCH

Have you checked the connection first for dirt?
Have you unplugged the connection & tried shorting the plug out to see if your lights now work?

Yeah I have, can't remember the result but I think it confirmed my suspicions about the switch. Is the right one?

Know idea if its the right switch, I got mine from the scrappy when the one on my 405 failed.
