well 3.25 is all the oil it needs, accoring to http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/repair-20 ... bbmek3.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

overfilled cause a STOP?

far too much can blow oil seals - have seen it recently on an X plate vectra - the owner actually scrapped it becaus of him overfilling the oil :(

go and check it - see how much is in there - and by overfilling , he stuck nearly 2 litres above the max line in

I think I may have overtightend cambelt.. and will resolve that tomorrow..
i will drain .5l of oil..

but neither of these would cause a stop light..?
just annoyed at the lack of info from the light really..

I don't bleeding believe it ;)

after a tip-off, I popped home at lunch and tried her again.. the STOP was because the passenger door was slightly ajar.. I mean! ..

this morning, after an overnight settle, about 7-8mm above high (low - high is about 25mm).. It wouldnt be a huge pain to lose that, but it doesn't look excessive to me..

chaps,. this 206 had red antifreeze in.. I drained that, flushed with water and then put 50/50 blue in.. no probs with this ?

Think red is longer life..?
