I usually see a few C6s around here and never post them as spotteds but I saw a slightly more interesting one today. One of the first 10 registered here, on a 55plate.

It was GF55 YOL, parked in Middlesbrough, there was a football match on so I guess it was there for that.

Like the SM, they look stunning in the metal but don't always photograph so well...

I know exactly where you're coming from Paul. Not the prettiest car Citroen ever made by far. I was using it more as an example really to say they don't picture well but look better in the metal just as the DS and CX look much better in the metal unless photographed by James Walsh of course...

Against a tidy CX or GS or XM the SM looks like nothing. See an SM amongst its non-Citroen contemporaries (E-Type excepted) and they begin to look good. That's how I first saw a live blue metallic SM and it blew me away. It was at Beaulieu. Now look at an SM at DSM and against the fleet of assembled DSs it looks like the ugly sister...

Not an actual spot but its on TV!

A 60 plate C6 with the later wheels, so probably a 3.0 HDi V6, one of the few! In dark blue with the reg RV60 HOJ

Its on The Royal Bodyguard - a comedy series with David Jason.

Edit: DVLA says it is a 3.0 HDi. Nice! 8-)

was a couple of weeks back we spotted R298 CRL too which is same spec and same community midwife green colour too!! :-D

was chatting to a Citroen mad friend the other day about the Amount of Xant's that have sprungup down here last couple of months, most seem locally reg'd too, and pretty much all TD's, good half a dozen i regularly see, with about the same amount again i see once a month or so, Lots of old pugs about too, 306's, 405's and 6's too,
