Towing capacities 406 mk1

Can anyone tell me the towing capacities for the peugeot 406 mk 1 diesel, 1.9 and 2.1?

Any of the diesel 406's make good tow vehicles. The 1.9TD has a kerb weight of 1389Kgs and the 2.1TD has 1202Kgs. Estate versions are around 50Kgs more. If you stay within the advised weight ratio of 85%, that means that with the 1.9 you could tow a fully loaded weight of 1180Kgs, and with the 2.1, a weight of 1202Kgs. My 2.1 Xantia tows a 1220Kgs caravan, and it's the best towcar I've ever used.
