Tacho dead
After quite a few weeks of playing up and going all the way over to the right a couple of times a day, my tacho has now decided to stop working all together. My car is a Synergie with the semi auto injection pump. Should I replace the TDC sensor, and if so where can I find it?

Could be the rev counter itself. My died on my Synergie not long after I bought it. Someone mentioned on ere that it could be the little motor thing the needles attached to. Can't remember the name of the thing but it can be replaced apparently without changing the whole clocks. If the engine is running right n starts fine I don't think it will be the sensor

My vote also doesn't go for the tdc (more known as the Crank Shaft Position sensor) which would cause some problems when the car is starting.
I guess rpm info comes from the tachometer which is on the rear side of the gear box.

Could also be a duff sensor for the rev counter. The old type of cars had the rev counter hooked up to the coil for a signal.
