fuel consumption

what fuel consumption can i expect running around with a 2.0 turbo xm[no intercooler]?the engine may be the same as a xantia, so does anyone have any estimates?

That's like asking how long is a piece of string - how heavy is yuor left foot? This makes a LOT of difference on a petrol turbo. In my own experience, XM's are actually slightly more economical than the corresponding Xantia with th esame engine - don't ask me why, but practical experience has shown it to be so.

I think because the XM is a slightly less agressive shape than the Xantia, so the aerodynamics will be better.
As a rough estimate, I would say ( and I have NO experience of this ), about 30 - 35 on a steady motorway journey ( ie. 70mph ), and perhaps 20 around town.
