HELP please

Iv just joined this site so not sure where to put this i have a 1.6 16v xsi 206 2001 plate im looking in to banging on some bike bike carbs on there anyone help what ones i need also info on this please.

In my opinion, don't put bike carbs on there its so not worth it, throttlebodies if you must play with the induction side of things. with carbs you'll really struggle with emissions and the TU5JP4 engine is designed for injection/ecu so you'll struggle to get a spark so unless you use megajolt or some such product you're in deep poo.

The standard inlet on these engines isnt bad anyway, play with cams and a remap/standalone ecu before anything else. (with a standalone ecu the world then becomes your oyster with mods and eachone is more worthwhile)

just my thoughts of course after owning pretty much every TU and fettling with most

Cheers for your feedback i have all ready got piper cams omp clutch 4 - 1 manifold and ligher fly wheel also a closed induction kit.

so what your saying is i could never use CBR 600 bike carbs on my car

only reason i want to no is pug1off sell thorrtle bodys for £1500.00 plus £1000 to fit!
