I'm heading on the boat tomorrow evening and I'm stuck for a litre or two of hydraflush. Car is currently sitting in the garden needing the brakes bled after i put in hydraflush and I've none left to do it. Went in to GSF and the guy was like "hydraflush eh, hmm, hmm, hmm" and just lookign around the bottles they have on view as if one would turn in to hydraflush. Eventually I just said ok and left. So end result is I'm a bit stuck till I get a lend of some. I can replace it next week or just give you the money for it.
My only alternative will be to try get the time tomorrow to empty it all back out and refill with LHM before its time for the boat.
Any Irish lads (dublin) help me in a bind

I MAY get shouted at for this, told possibly bad advice, but I cant see any harm in adding FREASH NEW LHM to the hydraflush, theres always some old stuff left in the system anyway on a hydraflush job..
If its only a litre you need.. are you into holyhead way??
If so, you'll be passing me too!! I may be out though..

This is not a common situation but if I were you I would top up LHM.Stekelly wrote:... to empty it all back out and refill with LHM before its time for the boat.

The Caliper Fluid is at a Dead end. the only way to remove that is to open the blead screws on the calipers with the engine running, on top suspension and the brake pedal pressed....
Ah, 1am, ok.. no, Ill be in bed then LOL...

All done. It's like a new car. It's the first fluid change it's had since I bought it in early 08 and it was off the road from the beginning of 09 till March this year. I did give it a new set of spheres shortly after I got it but the murky old LHM wasnt cuttign it.
I'm going to try stretch to a new set again when I change out the hydraflush.
Suspension and brakeing feel much better. Might stick it back in for the test when I get back and see is the brakign imbalance any better now. Touch wood the noises seem to be gone from the brakes. I just need to sort my abs light issue so I'm going to order 2 front sensors and 2 abs rings this week and freshen everythign up.
Cheers folks.
