Demise of a C6 3.0

Dommo: There's only one 3.0 HDi C6 for sale in the UK at the moment.. (on the Citroen site anyway!) and it's a 10 plate which is for sale at £23k.

Unfortunately no C6 is worth 23k to me as it'll be worth 13k next year. So a 3.0 is a no go.

I've also been reliably informed that the one in Edinburgh is sold so that's a no go.

Philip's damaged 10 plate is going up in price at auction now, it's currently at £2,250. I'd set a limit of £2,500, maybe £2,750 at a push so it doesn't look like I'm gonna get that one.

Steve: What's actually wrong with the one advertised on eBay? Only downside with that one is it's a Lignage but it looks to have the navigation and the upgraded stereo etc.

As is the norm with Copart you can't see what they make.

I did happen to look at about 11:50 this morning and it was on £3600 - this would be the minimum it made before the 'proper' auction started at 12:00.

Make an Amazingly nice Wedding Gift that would!

That is a DAMM STEAL for that price.. body looks straight, so it could be a non runner... Equipt with a LExia, it could be sorted. for a small cost. no doubt..

Oh, just had an other drool... she does start and drive for loading purposuses only, so does that mean engine or cooling system damage...

Look what the damaged ones are getting, this one doesn't look all that bad - at least shes in one piece!!!

Could well be a serious engine or gearbox fault, so not all that simple ... or cheap

Exactly my thoughts !

But stop drooling over this one as it was actually Sold two days ago via another website/ad (But unfortunately not to me)

After calling them this morning with a view to purchasing it, the guy on the end of the phone told me it apparently drove/ran okay but had a fair amount of panel paint damage which is not really apparent on the photo's so some-one got a good bargain IMHO !

What also happened, I was told that a purchaser from Ireland (Robert maybe

?) had not got the funds into the bank by the arranged cutoff time two days ago so @ 13:00 hr:s it was re-listed and was Sold within 10 minutes of being listed for an amazing £3,700

So there you have the full story Paul, I know which C6 I'd gone for (Well it's gone) , Is any one on here the new owner of 'FL 56 XGN' ?

If so very well done sir !

So now the challenge is on, 'Can you buy a second-hand C6 for less than £3,7000' that is a least road worthy ?
