Any chance its one of those Iranian Xantias produced up till a year or so ago?

How close were they to the real thing? Any chance we could pick up a few for buttons and strip them for parts?

Well, it's supposedly only got 20K miles on the clock so maybe it was mothballed somewhere.
Would that mean cheaper road tax?

Looking on their own site reveals the reg number which is an 08 plate.

However, stick this into the DirectGov vehicle details check and it cannot find the data.

Got to be a dealer mistake surely.

EDIT: Some more digging on the DirectGov site reveals it to be a Ford of some description. One with a 3.0 diesel engine

Which is odd...unless I'm mistaken Ford have never produced a 3.0 TDCi engine.

MM08 HDV is a Ford Ranger Thunder, not a Xantia.

Spoken to my neighbour this morning and as suspected someone has dropped a clanger and is now suffering charachter building abuse for it
