That's a very diplomatic statement Jim, anyone would think you were in the business :)

Fully agree though.

  Some of my work colleagues would make a healthy argument that I lack several critical diplomatic skills

Youve gotta love the false status drivers of grman cars seem o belive in!
mother used to have a golf, cost afortune in parts in compaison to our frenchies!
Used to tell her to look out for the bad drivers on the roads and see if you saw one Not driving a german car!

She has since seen sense and bought a silly low miles 307sw, last of the 1.9 non hdi ones, she couldnt believe how much nicer than the golf it was o drive!

This afternoon, I spotted a Xantia 1 estate in dark blue - possibly a VSX - at the same filling station! Given their scarcity, this is seriously unusual.

All my photos are from Vågå, Norway. Over here for a fortnight, always see lots of Citroens while I'm here. Have driven over from Plymouth twice before in my old '97 Xantia, then they stopped the ferry from Newcastle so have taken the plane.
Looking to drive over next time in the Picasso I hope.

My first day in France has been quite full of car spots ...

Quite early on I saw a black DS, it looked veyr tidy but it had a big box strapped onto its roof, no roof bars :?

I have seen 3 very early Xantias with chevrons on the bonnet, a couple of very early AXs, 2 2CVs, a deserted CX saloon and a CX Safari DTR (I have a pic!) and a C6 towing a caravan. I have seen two Hvans too, bth of which are now sheds, literally. There are a lot of C5s around, of all shapes, a lot of the C5IIIs. Not one XM yet though ....

Renault wise, 2 Vel Satis, 4 Safranes, 3 Renault 4s, one very early 5 ... crushed into a skip and original Twingos aplenty. I was following a very battered 21 Savanna earlier.

Pics will follow at some point 8-)

Im surprised by how many Peugeot 607s there are around, I must have seen about 8 .

Im on the lookout for Activa HDis, I saw a few last time I was here but not one S1 Activa.
