TE is the full turbo 1.9TD 90HP
Being a diesel you don't need a cat, and being a 95' I doubt you'll have one but that doesn't mean a catted pipe hasn't been erroniously fitted in the past 15 years.
Best thing to do would be get the car on high, lie down beside it and take a look underneath.
I would expect a single length of pipe from the engine to the back box.
The CAT version should be the same length too.
Here for £50

You'll need a new clamp.
They also show the 90HDi uses the same back box

Exhaust Back Box and Anti-lock brakes - really?

Looks like the one I have may well fit then ! I'll get the part number on Monday and post it here. It's a pattern part but not Bosal, I think it's Euroflow or something like that.

Hi Regan, think you will find there is a difference in bore sizes between the two systems or the couplings are reversed to stop numpties fitting the wrong box.
Apparently, you are supposed to wrap the ABS cables around the exhaust pipe to increase its capacitance!
If HDi posts up the part number, it should be possible to cross-refernce it ont'Net.

The abs no abs difference may have come up at the exhaust firm by mis-reading the Citroen parts list, the list tends to separate these things and will say for example:
"TURBO DIESEL XUD11BTE AND EEC 19-5 DEPOLL (ENGINE) UNTIL RPO No. 07237 and with ABS"
or
"TURBO DIESEL XUD11BTE AND EEC 19-5 DEPOLL (ENGINE) UNTIL RPO No. 07237 and without ABS"
when referring to something that has nothing to do with the part you're looking for but has something else in that section that abs or no abs does make a difference..
"TURBO DIESEL XUD11BTE AND EEC 19-5 DEPOLL (ENGINE) UNTIL RPO No. 07237 and with ABS"

Fantastic, thanks chaps. Amazing amount of help although there seems a discrepancy over the CAT, Handyman says yes, Xac says no. As soon as I can force my disease ridden body out of bed (bloody summer colds- I mean, Man Flu') I will crawl underneath and take a look.
Thanks for the offer HDi, let me know what you find out. If I can save a few quid, great! Every little helps. Hmm, maybe that should be a tag line for a shop or something
Edit: Just been outside and checked underneath. Either I don't have a CAT fitted or its really compact and fits inside the diameter of a normal piece of pipe as it's straight through from front to back.

It's a Euroflow part, EXCN6010. Have been on their website but the catalogue cannot be accessed unless you are registered, which cannot be done online !!
Unless anyone can X reference it in another catalogue I can't do anything until contacting them tomorrow.
