Seats-wise the Series 1 CX cloth seats are amazingly comfortable - so much more so than the XM IMHO.

I prefer the S1 with the single spoke wheel.Citroenmad wrote:
Luke, do you not like either the S1 or S2 Xm interior?
I don't mind them, not really a matched design with the exterior though neither is the C6. The Xm has superbly comfortable seats (more so if they are cloth!) and masses of room. The dash is fairly nice I think, I prefer the S2 again though.
I beg to differ - take a look inside a Renault 25 of the same era!!Citroenmad wrote:Dated! ... it came out in 1989Its period

Just so long as it was the i love your car look vince, if you pulled up next to him and gave him the 'i love your wife look' or the 'im not waring any trousers look' that may not of gone down too wellvince wrote:Just coming home from fruit picking with Linda and Jack on the M60, and we slowly passed a Synergie on french plates...i wondered to myself if they were car people and appreciated seeing a clean Xantia passing them...then i thought...i bet theyd be made upif they saw a DS on the road over here....then freaky i know but on the same stretch of motorway literally minutes later i pass a yellow and white DSI slowed right down beside him, gave him the I love your car look and then pulled away
