ZX: help in engine change and spares to go

Hi everyone…
As you might know my ZX has been written off and I am awaiting the insurance money, buying the car back asap for I have found another TD but with a rough engine, so my plan is to use my (good) engine and put that in the new ZX.
Two points to this message…
1. any advice or things I might need to help me accomplish this and 2. if anyone needs any parts, I will do my best to sort them out, I already have some requests on a previous post, thanks for now,

I'm after a working alarm control unit (the bit that makes the idicators flash)
On 3 door cars its behind the trim on the passenger side rear window, dont know where it is on 5door or estates.

the alarm/immobilser unit is fixed behiond my glove box, and plugs into the wiring harness etc for lighting etc, and another part plugs into the ignition loom, i have it in my shed for i have installed an aftermarket alarm to it, that any help?

Later ones are under the passenger seat (just like the xantia) and are not the same as the early ones, what year they were changed I'm not sure.

Need to make sure it the right one, mine is a rectangular plastic box about 1 1/2" wide or so and has 2 rectangular connectors on the bottom.
If it is the right one and you can confirm it works i'll give you a tenner for it.
