Looks rather like our Lake George (not very lake-like these days).

If you fancy a tea/snack break mid journey give me a shout and drop in Toby, I won't be going to the National on Saturday as I can't stand camping. Been there tried it a few time's, nah its too uncooof innit I mean like where's me bleedin en suite!
Richard, that is very kind. Thank you.

It's not exactly hilly around here. My girls having been brought up around these parts don't really know hills at all well. Me, I was born and brought up amongst them...

A few years ago now I took Robyn to a Guide Camp in Yorkshire. One of her first observations upon arriving in Yorkshire was:

"They've got a lot of hills around here Dad!!!"

When she first started driving and not long before she passed her test, she drove Siany and I to Somerset. Somerset has some very fine hills and near the end of our journey she needed to descend a fairly steep, twisty one, Wraxall Hill on the A37 between Shepton Mallet and Yeovil. This was the very first real hill she'd encountered whilst driving and found the whole experience a bit frightening.

One day I'll get her driving up Porlock Hill or driving Zig-Zag Hill :D

I agree, Porlock is quite something, you wonder whether you're going to ascend it or just crash into a wall of tarmac

It should never have been sealed! Those old trials in the mud/dirt, were rippers.

It really did hit home the flatness of around here today as we travelled back from near Axminster back to the Fens - it really is flat here!

We don't see these very often!
