I agree with bikers using dipped beam (I do as well when on a bike) but so many of them now use main beam it displays a degree of selfish arrogance on their part which to me does their cause no good whatsoever.

I've still not thought of a legitimate reason why front foglights should be able to come on before rears.

You mean like all that other VAG group crap?
Not at all. They all look s**t.

I like how the DS3's are vertical, they make the car look more confident and as already said, scream "look at me". I think that's all part of the DS3s aura.

However, I'm with you all when it comes to other cars. Especially the Audis. And I cringed when I saw that Ford are now kitting the Mondeo with them, and Citroen have stuck them on the C4 Picasso

No need.

Very true, I've noticed this too. I've even seen a few cars doing it too.

Sorry about the picture but it's a P Reg in Dante - I saw it out of the corner of my eye when we was parked, and grabbed my camera as quick as I could and took a picture. Unfortunatley the camera was in Manual Focus mode though -

...the owner would've seen us if they were a Citroen-Fan as we were in the C6 so easy to spot! Anyone??

Those Laguna Coupes look fantastic, one of the best looking new cars in my opinion. The rear really reminds me of an Aston DB9, especially when your following it, with the window like, sculptured rear and slitty lights.

Nice spot with the Activa Franklin, its been about 3 years since I last saw one on the road

Laguna looks hideous. Almost as bad as a 407 Coupé. Well, maybe not that bad but it is nothing special.

Sorry Chris, I'm not seeing the Aston connection either.

Doesn't do anything for me.

I would have a 407 Coupe, I like those.

I saw a really nice black 407 Coupe the other day, it almost bumped the front of my C5 while it was parking in front of me, out of it got a very nice young lady. Quite an appealing car really. 8-)

Reminds me of a Mazda, not sure what model, but it's not a patch on the look of the first Laguna II for me.

They were designed in house by Peugeot, and it shows. Wide gaping mouth with a back end that looks like a Hyundai.

They got it right with the 406. The 407 is not a patch on the design of the 406.

Saying that, if they had gone to Pininfarina for with the 407 I reckon it could have been rather nice.

I think the Coupe looks ok (not the front though) but the crunch for me would be the price, 30k  and for that you get a V6 derv which you dont want in a sports coupe, not only that but they manage to make this frugal engine do 35mpg  (how?) oh and it has a 0-60 time of just under 9 seconds.........which is slow.

Peugeot have not made a good car in years, which is weird as the company they own keeps coming up with the aces time and time again...........

XM Prestige PRV6 92
Talbot Express Autotrail Chinook 89
Mitsubishi L200 Trojan 14
Xantia Activa 95, sold (missed)

Service Citroen is awesome, it shows me pictures of all the parts i used to be able to buy............

Thats why you wait for them to depreciate :D Probably still wouldn't buy one, they just aren't as stylish as the 406. I'll wait for the Jag XFR and XJR to come down in price . Although they aren't as pretty as a 406 Coupé, at least they have a 5.0 supercharged V8 in their favour

My 406 Coupé was around a £35k car back in 2001. I paid just over 1/35th of that 8-)

I can get 35mpg from mine (albeit on a longer run) it sounds nicer (reminds me the Hindhead tunnels open tomorrow ) and 0-60 is 7.6secs. Probably weighs a fair bit less too.
